Buriton

You'll head out towards Buriton via the tracks inside Queen Elizabeth Country Park.  A gradual uphill ride through the forest brings you to a very big descent down to the charming village duck pond and church at Buriton.

The Street - East Meon

East Meon

after a few miles you will arrive at East Meon. A quintessential Hampshire village with two pubs, a stream running through it and a fair share of thatched chocolate box cottages.

If you have started late this is a good place to stop for refreshments although you will also come through here on the way back if you are early.

The tour then heads back towards East Meon on some lovely peaceful lanes.  Culminating on a very steep ascent of Butser Hill via the locally famous Harvesting Lane.  A challenging test for local cyclists but easy peasy on one of our ebikes!

Once at the top take a small detour to the top of Butser Hill for views across hampshire and even the Isle of Wight on a clear day.

And Finally...

Retrace your steps off Butser Hill and re-join the road
