About your ride


Before you book your ride, we'll be happy to discuss your ideas and requirements to ensure your ride is planned for success. As well as routes, we're also happy to help you find places to stop for lunch and to stay. 

We ask for payment at the time of booking or a 30% deposit if booking more than 8 weeks out (with the balance due 4 weeks out).

Once you've booked you'll receive our pre-ride info.

Do you provide routes?

Nearer the time we're happy to work on routes for full day and multi-day rides. While we have our favourites, we often need to adapt them based on conditions (e.g. if they become muddy or overgrown, or blocked by fallen trees).

When you come for your ride, we'll check you in, take your ID and pre-authorisation and get you set up with your bike, route and essentials like puncture repair.



What happens if there's a problem?

When you're out riding, we are contactable by phone in case of problems. We expect you to know how to repair punctures, but are never far away if there is a problem.

For A to B rides and multi-day rides, we expect you to be self-sufficient. If you do need us to come to the rescue, we will be happy to, though we do charge a callout fee unless there is a problem with a bike not resulting from abuse or misuse.

At the end of your ride, we'll check in your bike and give it a clean and a service (one of the great joys of renting is not having to do this yourself!
